New for 2026: Summer Horse Camp

Horse science
Campers will explore the fundamentals of equine science, including horse anatomy, behavior, nutrition, and communication.
Lessons are interactive and observation-based. For example, painting a skeleton on a horse to learn anatomy and observing the horses in the pastures to discuss horse behavior.
Riding lessons
Each afternoon there will be a lesson that is tailored to each student's experience level. For complete beginners, there will be introductory lunge lessons. Our intermediate to advanced riders will be grouped appropriately.
Each rider will receive individual attention allowing them to progress as much as possible throughout the week.
Horse care
Campers will participate in daily barn management including feeding, stall cleaning, and general horse care.
Emphasis is placed on safety and responsibility. It is our philosophy that a rider's education begins from the ground up with respect for the horse and that is developed through understanding how to care for the horse.
Arts and Crafts Projects and Free Time
When not riding, there will be arts and crafts projects and interactive games.
We believe that a well-rounded camp includes balance. There will be unstructured time each day for rest, creativity, or self-guided exploration.
What is the difference between the two camps?
Our Beginner's Equestrian Camp is designed for riders just getting started with horses. One of our favorite things to do at Lindinhof is introduce kids to horses. 🐴
Our Summer Horse Camp is an immersive, full-week experience for riders of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced students. Campers take part in daily riding lessons, horse care, horsemanship, and hands-on barn activities designed to build confidence, skills, and independence around horses.
